Physical Rehabilitation Technician / Medical Assistant

John Sarro Is a Physical Rehabilitation Technician at PIHELP Injury Clinics, where he works under the care of Dr. Jim Sher. He has completed the Medical Assistant program, for National Education Center, attended San Antonio College, Graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and a has worked under the direction of Doctors and Therapist. He provides patient care. His responsibilities as a Technician include greeting patients and getting daily information for Doctor and Chiropractor. His job duties include treating patients with passive modalities, manual therapy, and supervising over the treatment plan. Instructing patients on proper body mechanics of Therapeutic exercises and Therapeutic activities protocols.

John has worked as a Physical Therapy Technician/ Occupational Therapy Technician/ Aquatic Therapy Technician working inpatient, outpatient, long term care, work conditioning and work hardening. John has worked in the Therapy field working under Orthopedic Doctors, Physical Therapy Therapist, Occupational Therapy Therapist, Aquatic Therapist, Internal Medicine Doctors and a Chiropractor in the span of 20 years has gained job experience.

John enjoys working with acute, chronic injuries and strength training helping patients to reach their goals, Treating patients through Physical Therapy, Therapeutic modalities also manual therapy techniques to improve the patient's quality of life. John will do everything he can to make sure patients get the treatment they need to recover as quickly as possible while having an empathetic approach through the rehabilitation process.
